Description:	The bench mark is set in bedrock on the USCG Base in Kodiak, 9.72 m (31.9 ft) north of benchmark 9457292 MON 7278 RM2, 9.08 m (29.8 ft) SSE of the SW corner of a concrete foundation 4.57 m (15.0 ft) square, and 4.91 m (16.1 ft) SW from the SW corner of another concrete foundation. The bench mark is recessed 0.10 m (0.3 ft) below the bedrock surface being the top of a stainless steel rod with datum cap and encased in a 1-inch diameter PVC pipe.
